Nucilo showcases a Cabernet Sauvignon wine, crafted exclusively from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine belongs to the Organic line.
Finca Las Peñas, situated at 990 meters above sea level and planted in 1999, features a variety of grapevines including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. Utilizing an espalier trellis system with 5500 plants per hectare, it yields 80 quintals per hectare. The soil is characterized as loamy. Notably, the vineyard obtained organic certification in 2023.
With a 13% alcohol content and no oak contact during aging, this wine presents an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers aromas of cherries complemented by subtle hints of pepper and gentle wood influences. It has a smooth and balanced palate, with flavors reminiscent of cherries and cassis.
Ideal for pairing with red meats, pasta dishes, or fish and white meats with spicy sauces.
Suggested serving temperature: 14- 16 °C.
