The line alludes to the AUKA ancestors, whose culture emphasizes the importance of conserving water and living in harmony with the environment. From rainwater harvesting practices to careful stream channeling techniques, they have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the preservation of natural resources. That is why the Auka wine brand is proud to bear the name of this ancestral community.

Pet Nat is made using the ancestral method, which involves bottling the wine before it has completed fermentation, allowing natural carbonation to develop in the bottle.
Unlike traditional sparkling wines, such as Champagne or Cava, where yeast and sugar are added to induce secondary fermentation in the bottle, in Pet Nat the carbonation is completely natural and comes from the yeasts that are still active when the wine is bottled.
