Nucilo showcases a Malbec wine, crafted exclusively from 100% Malbec grapes. This wine belongs to the Organic line.
Finca Las Peñas, situated at 990 meters above sea level and established in 1999, boasts a vineyard featuring Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay varietals. Employing an espalier trellis system with 5500 plants per hectare, it yields 80 quintals per hectare. The soil composition is characterized as loamy. Notably, the vineyard obtained organic certification in 2023.
This wine features 13% alcohol content and is aged without oak contact. On the palate, it offers an elegant and fruit-forward profile, with distinct aromas of Japanese plum and raspberry. Its smooth and delicate texture is characterized by sweet, silky tannins, making it incredibly easy to drink.
This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including red meats, stuffed pastas, and serves as an ideal choice for appetizers.
Suggested serving temperature: 14- 16 °C.
