Nucilo presents a Chardonnay wine crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This wine belongs to the Organic line.
Finca Las Peñas, located at an altitude of 990 meters above sea level and planted in 1999, is home to a variety of grapevines including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. Utilizing an espalier trellis system with 5500 plants per hectare and yielding 80 quintals per hectare, the vineyard thrives in loamy soil conditions. Notably, it received organic certification in 2023.
This wine boasts a 12% alcohol content and is unoaked. In appearance, it exhibits a pale green color with yellow highlights. On the nose, it offers citrus notes alongside a subtle floral aroma. On the palate, it presents complexity with a smooth texture and delicate flavors reminiscent of toasted bread, typical of the varietal.
Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, fish, and salads.
Suggested serving temperature: 6-8°C.
